Laguna Bakalar

Drawing these sleeping feet against the poofy cloudy sky, i kept on thinking that there is no better place to be than here.... Now, 2 years later, looking back at my summer travels with my friend Polina across Mexico and Guatemala in 2012, i still think there is no better place to be....Laguna Bakalar. A little unknown oasis of cerulean blue water burning in the occasional ray of sun light that accidentally peeked through the clouds. We met a couple that day traveling in a 60's mini van with their dog( wish i remembered the name) from Tijuana. They camped out on the lake's shore and cooked their dinner. I envied them. They didn't have a return date or a ticket that they were bounded to... i was. One day i will do the same; travel without a return day.
