Little did i know when i started on Baba Klava's creation. Surprisingly she proved to be a of somewhat stubborn and attention seeking nature...
First she refused to collaborate with me when I was molding her, then she didn't like the color of her skin tone. After I thought I got everything right she told me she would look better if her eyes were blue and if she had a different outfit all together! Mind you, often times during our repartee on the subject of improvement, i was under the impression that it wasn't particularly the change that she was after but mere fact that someone was listening to her; she wanted to be the center of attention and hold on to it just a little longer before being put on the shelf and forgotten.
After a couple of days of painting and repainting, sowing and resowing we finally reached a consensus and Baba Klava is finished at last. All I have to do now is send her off to NYC for a vacation.
