You’re making work—but is it saying what you want it to?
In this one-hour session, we’ll look through your portfolio together and talk about what’s working, what could be refined, and how clearly your voice and vision are coming through. You’ll get personalized, thoughtful feedback, ideas for new pieces, and practical suggestions to make your portfolio more focused, professional, and aligned with where you want to go.
Whether you're still finding your footing, shifting directions, or reassessing your creative path after a few years in the field, this is a space to ask questions, get perspective, and move forward with more clarity and intention.
Perfect for illustrators building a professional body of work, reworking their visual identity, or simply looking to reconnect with their creative goals. You'll walk away with a clearer sense of where your work stands—and where it could grow next.
✔️ 1-hour Zoom session
✔️ Up to 12 pieces reviewed (including roughs if they want)
✔️ Personalized follow-up notes with clear next steps
✔️ Option to email 1-2 follow-up questions (optional, but feels generous and low-effort if controlled)
As a working illustrator across editorial, publishing, and narrative-driven projects, I understand how challenging it can be to not just create—but to stay connected to the deeper purpose behind your work. You might be early in your career or several years into it and still questioning whether your portfolio is telling the story you want it to tell.
Alongside my illustration practice, I teach professional practices and mentor artists navigating different stages of their creative lives—whether they’re building momentum, refining their identity, or exploring new directions. Together, we work on shaping a body of work that feels true to both creative growth and professional goals.
This session isn’t about handing you a formula—it’s about helping you build one that fits you. Through thoughtful, honest feedback, we’ll take stock of where your work is now and how it might evolve, in ways that are aligned with your voice, your values, and your vision.
Whether you’re shifting gears, deepening your practice, or simply looking for a fresh perspective, I’ll meet you where you are—with care, clarity, and real-world insight.
How many pieces should I bring?
Up to 12 is ideal. That gives us room to go in-depth without rushing. If you have more, we can focus on your strongest work or discuss where the portfolio could grow.
Can we go over ideas or unpublished pieces?
Absolutely. Works in progress, sketchbooks, and project ideas are welcome. Sometimes the most important conversations start with unfinished work.
Will I get notes after the session?
Yes. After the session, you’ll receive a written summary highlighting key takeaways, insights, and personalized next steps.
What if I’m still figuring things out?
That’s exactly what this space is for. Whether you’re refining, pivoting, or exploring, this review is meant to meet you where you are—and help you see the next steps more clearly.
